The Summer of 2024 was filled with several accomplishments from all three teams. 2024 Season Recap: Seniors-Post 266-Head Coach Tim Jacoby 31-18 Junior-Post 266-Head Coach Bob Woodworth 34-10 Reserves-D1 Training-Head Coach Garet Wright 39-6
Our Seniors, Juniors, and Reserve programs continue to complete in Class A with a combined record of 104-34. The Seniors qualified for Class A state for the first time in program history. The Juniors won several tournaments which included their district and qualifying for state. The Reserves also won several summer tournaments and finished second at state losing to Elkhorn North in the championship game. All three teams play in out of town tournaments ranging from South Dakota to Kansas. We are looking forward to another successful season in 2025 season. Thank you coaches and players for a great 2024 season.
There have been several additions to Pruess Field in 2024. A new camera system was installed and will be up and running for the 2025 spring and summer season. The camera will synch with Gamechanger and will provide two different camera angles to watch the game, review game clips, and compile video for players to send out to potential college coaches. Third base bullpen has been turfed and we will be adding accessibility to our entrance for a better fan experience. Continuous field improvements are made annually to provide a great playing surface for our coaches and players.
The legion board is in the process of planning for the upcoming Cornhole fundraiser hosted annually. The event has been a huge success and hosts about 150 people. The board continues to look at tournaments, hosting regular and post-season tournaments to enhance the playing experience for our players, coaches, and parents.
Thank you for the continued support! None of this would be possible without the dedication of our players, coaches, board members and community partnerships.
